Stakeholder Conference - November 2007
Following the outcomes of the I&DeA LSP Peer Review in spring
2007, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council organised a large stakeholder
conference to develop a partnership direction for taking the borough
forward. The conference held in Nov 2007, was well attended by a range
of local partners and included presentations from Peter Gilroy (Chief
Executive of Kent County Council), Julia Ross (Director of Civic Engagement
), Mark Salisbury (Chief Superintendent MS) and Rob Cottrill (Director
of Planning and Development, TWBC)
All partners were in agreement that the a borough Local Strategic
Partnership should be formed, which built on the succecssful work
of the Community Plan Partnership and enabled all partners to achieve
the vision of hte Sustainable Community Plan.
