The draft Sustainable Community Strategy 2010 - 2026 has been developed by Tunbridge Wells Together, the local strategic partnership for the borough. The strategy sets out a vision and priorities for the borough. We want to make sure we continue to work together to enhance the quality of life for all. We want everyone to “Love Where We Live”.

What does this mean for you?

• That we continue reducing crime and making people feel safer
• That communities are more involved in decision making and volunteering
• That children and young people reach their potential at school, participate in sport, and out of school activities with family members
• That we promote healthy living and improve opportunities for older people
• That housing meets local needs
• That our economy is thriving and diverse, residents access quality education and have access to an improved transport infrastructure
• That we minimise our impact on the environment, keeping the borough clean and a beautiful place

Have we got this right? The consultation is on-line to reduce waste and make it easier for you to participate. To take part simply visit the Tunbridge Wells Borough Council consultation portal by clicking on the link below and give us your views by 16 April 2010.
