September Food Month

Royal Tunbridge Wells sits in the heart of the High Weald and The Garden of England. For centuries, this corner of West Kent has played an important role in the UK’s food production, with its rural landscapes and fertile soils contributing to abundant crops and harvests.

Over the past few years, there has been a renaissance in artisan food and drink producers throughout Kent. Royal Tunbridge Wells has become a magnet for lovers of food and drink – whether it’s touring award-winning vineyards, educating yourself at Rosemary Shrager’s Cookery School, foraging from hedgerows, fishing for trout, eating fresh game or enjoying superb independent restaurants including The Warren, Thackeray’s, Vittle & Swig and Sankey’s, Royal Tunbridge Wells is a veritable paradise for lovers of fine food and drink.

This September, Royal Tunbridge Wells Together will be celebrating our superb epicurean offering for the second year running with our Food Month initiative. Stay tuned as details of this year’s programme are announced – we want food and drink lovers to visit our beautiful town, try new tastes and food experiences and relish every mouthful!
